Indications/Uses
Temporary synovial fluid replacement for patients affected by degenerative or mechanical arthropathy of the hip & knee causing alteration of the functional performances of the synovial liqd, w/o active synovitis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
IA Inj into the affected hip (under ultrasound guidance) or knee. After 1st application, further treatment may be required as needed.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Infections or skin diseases at inj site.
Adverse Reactions
Sporadically, local pain, swelling, heat & redness at inj site.
Drug Interactions
Can precipitate w/ disinfectants containing quaternary ammon salts. Avoid other IA products.
